Director of Clinical Services

This position is located in Bangor Maine -the gateway to Maine’s National Park Systems. Wellspring is a small to moderate size organization with 5 treatment programs generating approximately $3.2 million in revenues and employing 65 employees. The Clinical Director serves as a member of the senior management team and reports to the executive director.

This position is responsible for supervising the implementation, delivery and integration of clinical services for three gender-specific residential programs (10-15 beds each), two IOP programs (including Drug Court), a robust outpatient therapy program and a 10-bed Detox Program. The Clinical Director ensures that (1) treatment services are delivered in accordance with evidence-based practices; (2) clinical services foster an atmosphere of customer service and excellence in service delivery; and (3) clinical staff are highly trained and proficient in the delivery of clinical services.

Must be able to work the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week as needed. Position is Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday. Wellspring offers comprehensive benefits including health and dental insurance as well as paid vacation and sick leave.

Qualifications: • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) • At least five years of supervisory experience and skilled in training, coaching and mentoring multidisciplinary staff. • Minimum of ten years of experience in mental health treatment/substance abuse treatment.
