Wellspring is a licensed substance abuse and mental health agency that has served the Bangor community for 50 years. We provide trauma-informed outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential treatment at our various Bangor locations to hundreds of individuals and families each year.
In collaboration with the local hospitals and service providers, Wellspring is pleased to announce that it will soon be opening a Social Model Detox Program in the Bangor area. This critically needed program will serve adults that have been referred from local emergency rooms for substance use detoxification services. It is a fast-paced program that is expected to serve over 700 individuals annually.
Wellspring is seeking a Program Director to oversee all aspects of program development and management of this program and to provide clinical oversight to a ten-person team. The Program Director shall work to ensure delivery of trauma-informed detox services to people with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health problems. The Detox Program must adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations in addition to Wellspring agency policies.
Interested applicants for the Program Director’s position must possess an LADC, CCS and have considerable experience serving populations with substance use disorders. LCSW, LMSW-CC, LCPC, or LCPC-C preferred.
Applicants MUST have Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) certification or be eligible for CCS certification within 6 months of hire. Must have experience hiring and supervising clinical staff. The position is full time with a competitive salary with full-time benefit package.
