Do you have compassion for those struggling with substance use disorders? Wellspring’s Outpatient Program is seeking a candidate to fill a full time therapist position in the Bangor office. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about making a difference. In this role your responsibilities would include provision of comprehensive assessments as well as providing trauma-informed individual therapy and group counseling.
We are looking for a therapist with solid ethical boundaries who is eager to learn and apply both well-established and new, innovative treatment approaches. This is an opportunity for individuals interested in providing direct services and working alongside a team of talented therapists to help expand services we provide in the Bangor area.
As a state licensed agency only certified candidates will be considered. Strongly preferred credentials are the LCSW or LCPC.
A certified LADC with a bachelors degree and two years of counseling experience; or an LADC with four years of counseling experience would also be considered.
Outpatient office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but there is flexibility for scheduling clients during evening and weekend hours. Competitive salary with full-time benefit package.
