William “Bill” Shook Jr.

Bill has a bachelor’s in biology from Boston College. He went on to earn his master’s in bacteriology and public health administration from the University of Massachusetts. Bill served as Director of Public Health for the City of Bangor from 1963 to 1984 and then went on to become the Assistant Director at the Maine Bureau of Health from 1984 to 1987. Additionally, he was the Environmental Compliance Manager at Sawyer Environmental for nine years beginning in 1987. In 1998, he became the assistant to the Town Manager in Glenburn where he served until 2016.
